How to Clean your House Fast

How to Clean your House Fast

What are the steps to a clean house?

Everyone dislikes cleaning, but everyone can enjoy a clean house. Cleaning the house is an important task that should be done regularly. You might be wondering if theres a quick way to clean your house. Most beginners are unsure whether they should dust or vacuum first. They are unsure if they should clean the kitchen first or the bathroom second. To make the most of your time and get your house tidied quickly, follow these step-by-step instructions based on years of hard-earned experience:

Fast House Cleaning Tips

1. Clean the whole house, not just one room at a time.

Cleaning is considerably more efficient if you choose one chore (dusting, vacuuming, mopping) and repeat it in all areas of the house, rather than cleaning the kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms separately. Cleaning this way keeps you from feeling like you’re stuck in a never-ending cleaning cycle, constantly doing the same task.

2. Place all of your cleaning supplies in a caddy.

Having everything you need to clean in one portable spot, whether it’s a caddy, bucket, or tote, makes getting the job done much easier. You won’t have to waste time hunting down equipment while cleaning, and you won’t have to worry about gathering them for your next cleaning session.

3. Get rid of the clutter

Before you begin cleaning, walk around your home and clear the clutter. As you pick up each item – magazines, well-read paperbacks, old sneakers – decide whether you want to put it away, toss it or donate it. This will help you to organize your home and get rid of items you don’t use.

4. Dust and then vacuum

Make sure all ceiling fans are turned off before you begin dusting. Dust the corners of rooms, the tops of furniture and the undersides of shelves, as well as handrails, picture frames, knickknacks, and TV screens. An easy way to reach hard-to-reach places is but tying a microfibre cloth to the end of a mop or broom. It’s important to dust before you vacuum to ensure you are getting rid of all the dirt. Before vacuuming, change the linens in the bedrooms.

5. Clean mirrors and glasses

Wipe down all the mirrors and glass surfaces in your house with a clean damp microfibre cloth. Then dry the glass or mirror with a dry cloth.

6. Clean all countertops and other surfaces.

Wipe off all hard surfaces in your home, including worktops, appliances, and cupboards, as well as doorknobs, light switches, TV remotes, and telephones. You should sanitize every surface, especially surfaces in high traffic areas like kitchens and bathrooms. Mix one-fourth to a half cup of white or apple cider vinegar with a cup of water to make a harmless disinfecting solution.

7. Pay special attention to tubs, sinks, and toilets.

Spray the kitchen sink first, then the bathroom sinks, tubs, and toilets. Allow the cleaning spray to sit for a few minutes to allow the cleaner to dissolve the grime and stains. Return to the kitchen and begin scrubbing. Remember to clean in unopened spaces like the interior of the microwave. Clean the toilets last

8. Sweep first, then mop

Sweep the floors in the kitchen, bathroom and all other rooms of the house. Begin mopping in the farthest corner of the room and work your way backwards towards the entryway (do not mop yourself into a corner). Every time you finish a 4-by-4-foot area, rinse the mop.

9. When vacuuming, keep moving.

When vacuuming, don’t worry about getting into every nook and corner. Simply keep moving throughout the home, vacuuming every carpeted room in one single pass. Remember that some tasks might not have to be completed every week. Waxing the furniture, cleaning the windows, and washing area rugs and bath mats are just a few examples. Examine these items and apply your best judgement.

10. Remember to wash your cleaning tools on a regular basis.

Cleaning tools maintenance is an often-overlooked aspect of housekeeping. Using a dirty mop or a vacuum with a full bag is ineffective, and you’ll wind up spending more of your time cleaning. Plus, you won’t get as deep of a clean.

11. Make cleaning a collaborative project.

Making cleaning a group effort is one of the most effective ways to clean a house quickly. Schedule a time with your family ahead of time and assign duties to each member. Working together can make cleaning more enjoyable, and your home will be shining in no time.
